Wardrobe ideas
A collection of fitted wardrobes and dressing rooms designed and hand made by Square Peg Designs. Take what you like from our work, whether that is a walk in run painted top to bottom in one colour, tongue and groove doors carried to the ceiling or long brass handles running the full height of a cupboard, then let us make it for your own home.

A fitted wardrobe should look like part of the house rather than something delivered to it. That means the cornice continues, the skirting returns, the doors sit in line with the room and the whole run stops at the ceiling instead of leaving the usual six inches of dust above it.
We are cabinet makers. Every wardrobe in this gallery was built for the wall it stands against, scribed to walls that lean and floors that fall, then hand painted so it belongs to the bedroom rather than sitting in it.
What goes inside is the part worth spending time on. Long hanging, short hanging, drawers at the height you can see into, shoes where you can reach them and shelves set out for what you own now rather than a standard layout. Two people sharing one room usually need two different arrangements behind matching doors.
A dressing room is also the one place a dark colour always pays off. Taking the paint over the doors, the walls and the ceiling turns a small room into something closer to a fitting room, which is exactly what you want at seven in the morning.
If the wall has a chimney breast in it, look at alcove ideas as well, since the recesses either side are usually where the hanging space wants to go.
Have your wardrobes made for the wall they stand on
Send us the room. We will run the cabinetry to the ceiling, scribe it to walls that lean, set the inside out around what you own, then paint it so it belongs to the bedroom rather than sitting in it.
